Simplex operation
The sim plex ope ra ti on functi on al lows an in ter nal con nec ti on to be estab lis hed to anot her sys tem te le pho ne wit hout
it ha ving to ac ti ve ly ac cept this con nec ti on (i.e. lift re cei ver, switch loud spea ker/hands free on). This con nec ti on al -
lows both par ties to spe ak.
As soon as a sys tem te le pho ne has ac cep ted the sim plex call, the con nec ti on is estab lis hed. If eit her par ty picks up the
re cei ver du ring the sim plex call, the call is converted to a standard connection.

With sim plex ope ra ti on, en ter the in ter nal num ber of the de si red ex ten si on. Even if the re is an au to ma tic
out si de line, you must only en ter the in ter nal num ber. E.g. »22« ins te ad of »*22«.
If your sys tem te le pho ne is the des ti na ti on for a sim plex ope ra ti on call, the call num ber or name of the cal ler ap pe ars
on the dis play. Sim plex ope ra ti on can be ter mi na ted with the E key. Sim plex ope ra ti on calls are ac cep ted au to ma -
ti cal ly by by ac ti va ting the »Hands free« function, if:
· the sys tem te le pho ne is idle.
· sim plex ope ra ti on is per mit ted in the PABX (can be con trol led by the »al low sim plex ope ra ti on«
functi on key).
· the »Do not dis turb« functi on is not ac ti ve.
If the »Al low sim plex ope ra ti on« functi on key is pro gram med and en ab led, sim plex ope ra ti on calls can be re cei ved
when the »Do not dis turb« functi on is on.
You can in itia te sim plex ope ra ti on using the pro ce du re des cri bed be low or using a pro gram med functi on key.
