You can set up au to ma tic di rect di al ling in the sys tem te le pho ne so that when pres sing any key (ex cept the E key
and M key) a set num ber is di al led. If au to ma tic di rect di al ling is en ab led, only one con nec ti on to the spe ci fic num ber
can be estab lis hed. If you want to estab lish a con nec ti on to anot her num ber, au to ma tic di rect di al ling must first be
dis ab led.
Ac ti ve au to ma tic di rect di al ling on the sys tem te le pho ne is PIN-pro tec ted (see page 74). Au to ma tic di rect di al ling
can only be dis ab led af ter en te ring this PIN. If the PIN is set to »0000« (ba sic set ting), the PIN does not have to be en -
te red and can be skipped by pressing the O key.
When au to ma tic di rect di al ling is swit ched on, the fol lo wing functions are avai la ble:
· Au to ma tic di al ling of the spe ci fic num ber by lif ting the re cei ver or pres sing any key (ex cept the
E key and E key).
· Re cei ving calls as long as the se are not sup pres sed by the call fil ter.
· Sig nal ling of pre set ap point ments.

Ot her functions (e.g.: functi on keys, TAPI functi on or he ad set ope ra ti on) are not pos si ble when au to ma tic
di rect di al ling is enabled.
