3. THE FIREPLACE
3.1 INTRODUCTION
The BIS PANORAMA fireplace is an energy efficient, heat circulating, close combustion
fireplace using the catalytic technology. You will receive a lifetime of comfort and
enjoyment from your fireplace provided it is installed, maintained and operated properly.
Please read these instructions and retain this manual for future reference.
Before beginning the fireplace installation, consult the local authorities to obtain your
building permit and check your local building codes. Install the fireplace only as
described in these instructions and using only Security Chimneys International
components.
The BIS PANORAMA is not intended for use with a gas log. Failure to follow these
instructions will void the certification and the warranty of the fireplace and may result
in an unsafe installation.
