22. Closing the compressor terminal box
▶ Use a screwdriver (PH2) and the 4 screws to screw
the cover hand-tight to the terminal box.
23. Connecting the power connections and the
protective earth conductor to the FI
▶ Route the power connections L1, L2, L3 (solid wires
and/or finely stranded conductors with wire end fer-
rules) through the upper M32x1.5 screwed cable
gland of the frequency inverter and connect them to
the spring-type terminal.
▶ Route the protective earth conductor also though the
upper M32x1.5 screwed cable gland of the fre-
quency inverter and screw it down hand-tight with a
screwdriver (TX25).
24. VARISPEED compressor without control board:
Connecting the control lines
▶ When mounting a VARISPEED compressor without
control board into an ECOSTAR condensing unit: At-
tach the Modbus terminal strip (RS485) and connect
the cables with a screwdriver hand-tight
(SL186/2.5x75) in the same way as they were con-
nected to the old frequency inverter.
