Radio Version and Options
KNG Portable Radios are available in VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz
models. Model types include Tier I with no keypad or LCD display, Tier
II with LCD display and navigation buttons only and Tier III with a full
keypad and LCD display.
Model and Options Identifi cation
The radio model and version can be determined from the serial tag
located on the back of the radio.
Model Identifi cation
The radio model number is located on the top line of the serial tag as
well as on the inlay above the LCD display. The following chart shows
available model numbers and their frequency range.
