INSTALLING THE AILERONS AND FLAPS.
PREPARATIONS:
<Bottom view>
Assemble left and right
sides the same way.
Temporary pin to
keep hinge centered.
1) Test t the ailerons to the wing with the hinges. If
the hinges don’t remain centered, stick a pin through
the middle of the hinge to hold it in position.
2) Apply drops of thin CA to the top and bottom of
each hinge. Do not use CA accelerator . After the CA
has fully hardened, test the hinges by pulling on the
aileron.
Secure nylon hinges with instant glue, being
careful not to glue the wing and aileron together.
Align the center line of main wing with aileron.

Warning!
Make certain the hinges are
adequately secured with glue. if they come loose in
ight accidents may result.

Cut off shaded portion

Apply instant glue
(C.A glue, super glue).
Ensure smooth, non-binding
movement when assembling.
Use a covering iron with a cover-
ing sock on high heat to tighten
the covering if necessary. Apply
pressure over sheeted areas to
thoroughly bond the covering to
the wood.
