Changing the volume presetting
of the telephone ( PHONE)
If the device puts a phone call
through, it always starts at the
preset volume.
Press the softkey
8 (next to
"PHONE").
The "PHONE" menu item is
fl ashing. The presetting for the
telephone volume is shown on
the main line

ments 1 to 50).
During the phone call, you can
always change the volume by
means of the volume control

Changing the volume presetting
of the signal tone ( BEEP)
If a signal tone sounds, you al-
ways hear it at the preset volume.
Press the softkey
9 (next to
"BEEP").
The "BEEP" menu item is fl ash-
ing. The presetting for the sig-
nal tone is shown on the main
line

You hear a signal tone at the se-
lected volume.

power-on volume ( ON VOL)
You can confi gure the device so
that the playback after switch-on
always starts with the volume set
here. For this purpose, the "ON
VOL" menu item must be high-
lighted.

Restoring the volume at switch-
on ( LAST VOL)
You can confi gure the device so
that the playback after switch-on
always starts with the previous-
ly selected volume. For this pur-
pose, the "LAST VOL" menu item
must be highlighted.
