Intended use
Cleone is a water purifier for home use. Do not use it for any other purpose. Any use besides
indoor home environment and for purposes other than purifying water for household use is
considered as unintended use and will automatically void your Cleone warranty.
Water filtration system
Cleone purifies water in three steps: prefiltration, membrane filtration, and postfiltration.
Purified water from Cleone is collected in the purified water tank. When the tank is full, Cleone
goes into standby mode. When the purified water tank level is low, Cleone opens the inlet
water supply and begins purifying more water.
Water connections
There are four water connectors on the connection side of Cleone. The collet rings and
tubing have a color code.
Color Connection Description
ORANGE Inlet supply water The inlet water connection supplies inlet water to Cleone.
RED Drain water Drain water from Cleone to the drain pipe contains flushed and
rejected contamination.
YELLOW Purified water tank Purified water is collected in the purified water tank before it is
supplied to the purified water faucet.
BLUE Purified water faucet Purified water from Cleone is supplied to the purified water faucet.
Intelligent membrane flush
The reverse osmosis membrane is flushed regularly with water when Cleone is in standby
mode. The membrane is also flushed before and after the purification cycle. This makes sure
that the purification process always starts with fresh supply water.
Water quality system
The purification process is continuously monitored to make sure that the water quality is
high. If the water quality decreases, the system operation indicator flashes. If the problem
continues, Cleone stops. See “Troubleshooting.
Leak protection system
A sensor at the bottom of Cleone senses water leaks. If there is a leak, the inlet water supply
is stopped. Cleone cannot be started again until the leak has been repaired.
