Note the multifunction display:
If you switch on operational
readiness and the multifunc-
tion display fails to light up,
the battery is completely flat.
The 12 V battery will have to
be disconnected from the on-
board circuits and charged with
the battery charger connected
directly to the battery terminals.
If the multifunction display
switches on, the 12 V battery
is not completely flat. The
12 V battery can remain con-
nected to the on-board circuits
and can be recharged via the
12 V power socket.

Charge the 12 V battery using
a suitable charger. In this pro-
cess, comply with the operat-
ing instructions of the charger.
NOTICE
The 12 V battery has to be re-
charged at regular intervals in
the course of a lengthy period of
disuse. See the instructions for
caring for your 12 V battery. Al-
ways fully recharge the 12 V bat-
tery before restoring it to use.
