High-beam and low-beam
headlight

Important:
Always switch off the ignition
before changing bulbs.

Note:
Do not touch the glass of new
bulbs with the fingers. Use a
clean, dry cloth to hold the
bulbs when inserting them.
• Place the BMW C1 on its stand
– after making sure that the
ground is level and firm
• Remove front fairing panel
• Open quick-release
fastener 5 by turning it coun-
ter-clockwise and swing the
headlight forward
• Pull connector 1 off H4 bulb 4
• Remove rubber cap 2
• Turn retaining ring 3 counter-
clockwise to disengage
• Remove H4 bulb 4
• Installation is the reverse of
the removal procedure
– Low beam/high beam
