Maintenance and care
• Grease the threads of wheel
nut 1 with Optimoly TA
• Install wheel nut 1 and tighten
to specified tightening torque
L Note:
If necessary, tighten wheel
nut 1 slightly past the specified
torque until a bore for the split
pin is in line.
• Engage split pin 2 in one of
the two bores 3 and snap it
into the groove
• Firmly press wheel cover 4
into the wheel hub
L Note:
Grease surface between inside
of clamp and union with Opti-
moly TA.
When installing the silencer, do
not damage the wheel rim; ap-
ply masking tape to the rim if
necessary.
