l Loosen the rear nuts (Fig. 51) on both sides for
afewturns.
l Unscrew the front nuts on both sides.

l Raise the engine carrier plate at the front and
support it (Fig. 52).

l Unscrew the screws (Fig. 53) and take off the
cover.
l Install a new V-belt, assemble the cover, fas-
ten the engine carrier plate and tension the V-
belt as described above.
l Assemble the V-belt guard.

Caution
Check the V-belt tension again after a running
time of approx. 25 operating hours, retighten if
necessary.
