6.4 Running-in instructions
The following maintenance work must be per-
formed when running in new machines or
overhauled engines:

!
During the running-in period, up to approx. 200
operating hours, check the engine oil level
twice every day.
Depending on the load the engine is subjected
to, the oil consumption will drop to the normal
level after approx. 100 to 200 operating hours.
After approx. 50 operating hours
l Change the engine oil.
l Check engine and machine for leaks.
l Retighten the fastening screws on air filter ex-
haust, fuel tank and other attachments.
l Retighten the bolted connections on the ma-
chine.
l Check the vibration drive V-belts.
l Check the oil level in the vibrator housing.
