Do you have a question about the Bosch 0 275 007 038 and is the answer not in the manual?
The Bosch Drive Unit is an integral component of an eBike system, designed to provide electric assistance for cycling. This manual, available in English, French, and Spanish, outlines its functions, technical specifications, usage, and maintenance.
The Bosch Drive Unit is exclusively intended for propelling an eBike, offering various levels of assistance to enhance the cycling experience. It integrates with other eBike components, including the battery, on-board computer, and speed sensor, to deliver a seamless and efficient ride. The system activates when the rider pedals and deactivates when pedaling stops or a speed of 20 mph is reached. It automatically reactivates when pedaling resumes and the speed is below 20 mph.
The eBike system offers several assistance modes:
The system also includes a "Walk Assistance" function, which helps push the eBike at speeds up to 3.7 mph. This function's speed depends on the selected gear, with lower gears resulting in slower walk assistance. To activate, briefly press the "WALK" button on the on-board computer, then press and hold the "+" button within 3 seconds. Walk assistance deactivates when the "+" button is released, the wheels stop, or the speed exceeds 3.7 mph.
For eBikes equipped with eShift (optional), an electronic gear shifting system is integrated with the drive unit. The eShift components are electrically connected to the drive unit, and their operation is described in a separate instruction manual.
The Bosch Drive Unit is available in two main versions: Cruise and CX.
