3. Product description
3.1 Intended use
The BEA 030 is a mobile tester for use in motor
vehicle workshops.
BEA 030 is a measurement module for the exhaust gas
analyzers BEA 060, BEA 070, BEA 550 and BEA 950
(gasoline and diesel).
Communication between the PC/Laptop and the
BEA 030 can take place either by way of a Bluetooth
connection or a USB connection.
! If the BEA 030 and the supplied accessories
are operated contrary to the way specified by
the manufacturer in the operating instructions,
the protection provided by the BEA 030 and the
supplied accessories may be compromised.

R Speed measurement
$ By way of battery harmonic content
$ By way of TD/TN/EST
$ By way of BEA 040/BDM 300
R Oil temperature measurement
The BEA 030 is supplied with voltage by way of a
power supply unit or the vehicle battery.
3.2 Prerequisites
The BEA 030 can only be operated by way of a
PC/ Laptop and together with SystemSoft BEA-PC.
3.2.1 Hardware
R PC/laptop with operating system Windows 8 or
Windows 10
R DVD drive
R CPU (processor) with 2 GHz or more
R Hard drive with at least 5 GB of free storage space
R 4 GB of RAM or more
R Two vacant USB ports for the Bluetooth USB
adapter and for a USB connecting cable
3.2.2 Software
SystemSoft BEA-PC installed on PC/Laptop.
3.3 Scope of delivery
