7.2 Service Mode
Service mode provides access to Option Code settings, error
memory, relay tests, front panel tests, program version information
and EEPROM version information. It can be accessed at any time,
including while an error is displayed. If accessed while a mode is
running, the mode will be cancelled.
7.2.1 Accessing Service Mode
1. Press and hold Enter, numeric 1 and Bake for 5 seconds, or until
Service Mode appears in the display.
2. Press Next (soft key) to navigate through the menu. Additional
instructions will appear in the display.
3. Press Oven Clear/Off on single ovens or Upper Clear/Off on double
ovens to exit Service Mode any time (except while in the Front
Panel Test).
Table 8 reflects the Service mode menu options available.

Displays current option code; press Edit (soft
key) to enter a new code. Press

If errors have been logged, press

error menu. Press

(soft key) to continue to Relay Tests.
Relay Tests
Relay and DLB are turned on when soft key 3
is pressed. Soft key 2 turns off the previous
relay/DLB and advances to the next relay
test option. Pressing
Back (soft key) will

Front Panel Test
Used to ensure the TCM is connected
and operating properly. The front
panel test is based on the Option
Code that was saved at the time
Service Mode was initiated. If the
code was changed, exit Service Mode
then start again. Press
Start Panel
Test
(soft key) to activate this test.
After all expected buttons have been
pressed, the display returns to the
main menu. Press
Next (soft key) to
return to the first Service Mode menu
option. To exit the test, it must
either be successfully completed
or the power must be reset.
7.2.2 Setting the Option Code
Option codes are programmed into the control module and are used
to define cavity type and oven configuration. In the event it becomes
necessary to manually program an option code in Service mode, the
table below can be used as a reference.
