4 Familiarising yourself with your appliance
4.1 Controls
You can use the control panel to configure all functions
of your appliance and to obtain information about the
operating status.
Note:On certain models, specific details such as col-
our and shape may differ from those pictured.

Buttons The buttons have a pressure point. Press the buttons to
actuate them.

Touch keys There are sensors under the touch keys. To select a
function, press the relevant touch key.

Control ring You can turn the control ring infinitely in either direction.
To use the control ring, press down lightly on it and turn
it in the direction you require.

Display The display shows the current setting values, options
and notifications.

Touch fields are touch-sensitive surfaces. To select a
function, touch the relevant field.

On/off Switches the appliance on and

Information When the appliance is on: Dis-
plays additional information.
When the appliance is off: Calls
up the basic settings if you
press and hold the button for
approx. 3seconds.

options
Selects the time-setting options.

Activates the childproof lock.
Press and hold for approx.
4seconds to deactivate the
childproof lock.
Start/stop Starts, pauses or cancels oper-
ation (press and hold for ap-
prox. 3seconds to cancel op-
eration).

Steam Selects the "Steam" function.
Dough prov-
ing
Selects the "Dough proving"
function.
Descale Selects "Descale".
