Caring for DCU 220
Taking good care of DCU 220 will ensure a trouble-free operation and reduce the risk of
damage to DCU 220.
This chapter gives you guidelines covering areas such as protecting, storing, cleaning, and
traveling.
Cleaning Guidelines
Never clean DCU 220 with its power on.
Use a soft cloth moistened with water or a non-alkaline detergent to wipe the exterior of
DCU 220.
Gently wipe the display with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Dust or grease on the touchpad can affect its sensitivity. Clean the pad by using
adhesive tape to remove the dust and grease on its surface.
If water or liquid is split onto DCU 220, wipe it dry and clean when possible. Though
DCU 220 is water-proof, do not leave DCU 220 wet when you can dry it.
If DCU 220 gets wet where the temperature is 0°C (32°F) or below, freeze damage may
occur. Make sure to dry the wet DCU 220.
