PROBLEM CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Brake does not stop blade in
about 5 seconds.
1. Blade bolt loose.
2. Other.
1. Tighten blade bolt.
2. Authorized service.
Motor does not start. 1. Battery pack not
charged.
2. Battery pack not in-
stalled properly.
3. Battery pack tempera-
ture is too hot or cold for
operation.
4. Electronic Motor Protec-
tion turned tool off.
5. Burned out switch.
6. Other.
1. Charge battery if
needed.
2. Confirm battery is locked
and secured to the tool.
3. Let battery sit a few min-
utes or until it reaches
normal operating tem-
perature.

5. Let tool sit a few minutes
or until it reaches normal
operating temperature.
6. Have switch replaced by
an Authorized Bosch Ser-
vice Center or Service
Station.
7. Authorized service.
LED light flashing, motor
does not start.
1. Tool is over heated.
2. Battery is over heated.
1. Let tool cool down.
2. Exchange the battery.
