5.3 .3 Ext ra DHW heatin g
This menu allows you to set how DHW heating operates when
the extra DHW funct i on is activated .

function to be started and cancelled . Its
function is the same as the extra DHW key .
When the extra DHW function is act i ve, the
DHW is heated to the temperature set here .

5. 3.4 Thermal dis infecti on
Following thermal disinfection , the cylinder content slowly
cools back down to the set DHW temperature . The cool down is
effectuated mainly through heat losses . Consequently, the
DHW temperature may briefly be higher than the selected
temperature .

WARNING : Risk of scalding !
If thermal disinfection has been activated to
avoid legionella, the hot water is heated once
to in excess of 65 ·C (e .g. Thursday night at
02:00).

periods ou tside normal usage times .

The thermal disinfection safeguards the hygienic quality of the
DHW . The hot water is heated regularly to the set temperature .
This also kills off leg i onella , for example . Thermal disinfect i on

5.3.5 DHW alternating operat i on setti ngs
In DHW alternating operation , DHW and heating have equal
priority and alternate based on time . A heat requirement from
the heating system is nottaken into account while DHW heating
is active, and vice versa .
If DHW alternating operation is not active , DHW heating has
priority and interrupts the heat requirement of the heating
system , if necessary .

5.3.6 Setti ngs for DHW circulation
A DHW circulation pump circulates DHW between the DHW
heater and the draw · off point (e .g. water tap) . This makes DHW
available at the draw ·off point more quickly .
This menu is only avai l able for systems with DHW circulation
pump .

Settings can be made determining when and how often the
DHW circulation pump is activated .
1) Not available if Sweden or Finland is set as the country (for
the contractor only) . In these countries the DHW
circulation pump will run continuously without time
c ontrol.
