The REG 73-1 is a digital multifunction room
sensor for one heating circuit and for controlling
the domestic hot water.
The boiler settings supply the QAA73 room sen-
sor with the outside temperature and other in-
formation via the OpenTherm communication
bu
s. Using the outside temperature, room tem-
perature and other preset boiler parameters,
t
he room device computes the start setting re-
quired for one heating circuit and transmits it to
t
he boiler control. The hot water setting is also
sent to the boiler controls.
The QAA73 room sensor is a communication in-
terface that enables the main programmed pa-
rameters to be changed in the boiler LMU
mana
gement unit (e.g. heating curve, modula-
tion range, hydraulic system, etc.). Access to
th
ese settings is protected by a code and reser-
ved only for a qualified professional
The optimisation functions provide energy sa-
vings without compromising ease of use.
