12 Disposal
Careless disposal of the axial piston unit, the hydraulic fluid and the packaging
material can result in environmental pollution.
Observe the following when disposing of the axial piston unit:
1. Completely drain the axial piston unit.
2. Dispose of the axial piston unit and packaging material in accordance with the
regulations in your country.
3. Dispose of the hydraulic fluid in accordance with the regulations of your country.
Also observe the applicable safety datasheetfor the hydraulic fluid.
4. Disassemble the axial piston unit into its constituent parts for proper recycling.
5. For example, separate the parts into:
– Castings
– Steel
– Aluminum
– Non-ferrous metal
– Electronic waste
– Plastic
– Seals
13 Extension and conversion
Do not modify the axial piston unit and its assembled parts. This includes also the
change of the setting screws or the wiring.
Changes to settings on the customer side should only be made using the
product-specific setting instructions.
The warranty from BoschRexroth only applies to the product as delivered.
Thewarranty will be voided if the unit is modified or extended.
Setting screws are protected against unauthorized adjustment by tamper-proof
caps. Removal of the tamper-proof caps will void the warranty. If you need to
