NOTE
Important operation information
Keep the air ways used for cooling
the Compact System clear.
The Compact System may only be
operated in grounded networks. Ope-
ration in networks that are not directly
grounded (IT network) is not permit-
ted, as clearance and creepage dis-
tances in the system may be overloa-
ded, impairing the function of the
installed residual-current-operated
protective device (only for ErgoSpin
variants).
The only protective measure permissi-
ble in accordance with EN 50 178 is
protective grounding. The input cable
to the Compact System must have a
PE wire.
To ensure potential equalization of all
system components, a potential equa-
lizer is required between the workpi-
ece and tightening spindle (or its car-
rier plate), in addition to grounding the
Compact System.
