We recommend operating the
device without dishes before first
use due to possible water stains and
other residues.
You must make settings when you
first use it or after resetting to factory
settings.
Tip:These settings and other basic
settings → Page 35 you can change it
again at any time.
Tip:Connect your device to a mobile
device. You can easily adjust all
settings using the Home Connect
app.

dishes and the washing container and
can clog parts of the appliance.
To get good washing results, you can
soften water using the softening
system and special salt. To avoid
damage to the device, water with a
hardness above 7 °dH must be
softened.
