Problem Solution
Power/Status indicator remains
red after booting.
This is most often the result of an incompatibility between the design
file and firmware version. To fix this, retrieve the saved design from
the processor (if you have not already saved it to your computer), and
then upload a blank design file to the processor. The Power/Status
indicator should change to white. Import the saved design file into the
latest version of ControlSpace Designer. After that, save the design
file, and then upload it to the processor.
The processor does not indicate
any network connectivity.
Verify the processor's ControlSpace port (on the rear panel) is
connected to the network.
Verify that the network activity LED built into the ControlSpace port
(on the rear panel) is lit or blinking to confirm an active network
connection.
The front-panel display shows
the NETWORK SETTINGS – CS
page with an unexpected IP
address of 169.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x.
If the processor's IP mode is set to DHCP when no DHCP server is on
the network, the processor will use these ranges by default. Add a
DHCP server to the network, or change the processor's IP address to a
static IP address.
A connected AmpLink-enabled
amplifier is not receiving
AmpLink audio signal from the
processor.
Verify that the connection cable is a shielded Cat 5 network cable,
and set the amplifier to receive AmpLink Channels 1–4 (EX-440C) or
Channels 1–8 (EX-1280 and EX-1280C).
The processor does not register
any Dante audio subscriptions
(connections) or audio signals.
Verify that the IP address of the processor’s Dante card is on the same
network as the processor’s ControlSpace control IP address. To do
this, view the Dante Info page (see page 24 for more information).
To change the IP address of the processor's Dante card, use
Audinate’s Dante Controller software. It can also be helpful to change
the computer's network settings from a static IP mode to a DHCP
mode to view and change the IP address of the Dante card.
