DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES
8.3B Remove the ten screws that secure
the rear panel jacks to the chassis. Lift out
the PCB assembly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not remove the
screws located on the inside of the chassis
that are on the PCB assembly itself. These
screws are mounted to standoffs used to
keep the board at the proper spacing from
the chassis.
9. AC Switch Removal
9.1 Perform procedure 1.
9.2 Make a note of the wiring, and disconnect
the four Faston connections from the AC
wiring harness.
9.3 Press in the plastic tabs located on the
sides of the switch, and slide the switch out
through the front panel.
10. AC IEC Filter Removal
10.1 Perform procedure 1.
10.2 Make a note of the wiring configuration
and disconnect the three Faston connectors
located on the back of the filter.
10.3 Remove the two screws that secure the
filter to the chassis. Lift out the filter.
11. Fan Removal
11.1 Perform procedure 1.
11.2 Unplug the fan wiring harness from the
SMPS PCB at J204.
11.3 Remove the four screws that secure
the fan to the chassis. Lift out the fan.
Re-assembly Note: Be sure to mount the
replacement fan for correct air flow. The
label on the fan should face the inside of the
chassis.
