• Audio Precision AUX-0025 digital filter or equivalent
• Remote Volume control with A/B Select User Interface (Bose
®
PC 041967)
• 2 - 42 ohm (for 70V units) or 83 ohm (for 100V units), 250 Watt load resistors
Test Setup:
• Set the Bass and Treble controls to
12:00 clock, unless otherwise
specified.
• Set EQ to “1” FS3/HPF, unless
otherwise specified.
• Load is 42ohm/ch for 70V and
83ohm/ch for 100Voutput units.
• Output gain trim set to max, master
volume set to max, unless other-
wise specified.
• Input gain trim set to max, unless
otherwise specified.
• DIP switch setting as shown.
• All measurements for power amp need to use the AUX-0025 digital filter.
70 Volt Output Mode with 42 ohm load
• On the rear panel, set the 70V / 100V switch to 70V
1. Input Sensitivity and THD+N Tests
1.1 Set the front panel Input A / Input B switch to Input A. Apply a -10dBV +/- 2dBV, 1kHz sine
wave to the input A RCA input jacks.
1.2 Verify that the output level is 120W from both channels and that the THD+N is
<0.3%.
1.3 Repeat steps 1.1 and 1.2 for the Input B RCA jacks.
1.4 Set the front panel Input A / Input B switch to Input A. Apply a -10dBV +/- 2dBV, 1kHz sine
wave to the input A Euro block input jacks.
1.5 Verify that the output level is 120W from both channels. Verify that the THD+N is <0.3%.
1.6 Repeat steps 1.4 and 1.5 for the Input B Euro block input jacks.
1.7 Apply a -58dBV +/- 3dBV, 1kHZ sine wave to the Page Input.
1.8 Verify that the output level is 120W from both channels and that the THD+N is <0.3%.
1.9 Apply a -5dBV +/- 2dBV, 1kHZ sine wave to the 1/8” Aux input jack on the front panel.
