Procedure:
1. Place the instruments in the disinfector. Make sure that the cables are not
kinked or pinched.
Connecting cavities at flushing pipes and / or hoses for a sufficient rinsing
of the instruments.
BOWA luer flushing adapter REF 932-910 use as follows:
Step 1:
It is recommended to leave until the probe with some pressure lock into
the adapter and then perform the installation in the machine
Step 2:
A safe connection of the adapter to the probe is made possible in the
washer-disinfector (WD) via the lockable connection mechanism (Luer-
Lock) of the two parts. By turning the adapter into the WD connection, the
interlocking of the two parts is established.
2. Start the programme

3. Remove the instruments from the disinfector after the program ends.
4. Check and pack the instruments as soon as possible after collection (after
additional drying in a clean place).
Since during the cleaning process the liquid in the gas
supply line of the connecting cable, as well as in the probe
penetrates, the respective lumen has to be dried with
filtered compressed air <3 bar. For this, the compressed
air outlet is placed loose on the luer lock connector of the
connecting cable / probe.
CAUTION: Do not blow from distal to proximal!
5.3 Checking
Products must be checked for correct function and visible damage. Defective
products must be replaced.

Validation with pre-rinsing (cold water for 1 minute), cleaning (at 55°C for 5
minutes with 0.2% neodisher MediClean forte (Dr. Weigert, Hamburg)), rinsing
(cold water for 2 minutes), thermal disinfection (90°C for 5 minutes)
