10 Operating and Monitoring Systems 10
1 Filter pressure gauge
For checking the filter pressure.
17 Sensor, high level:
Regulates the batch level.
2 Sight-glass, filter circuit:
For observing the flow and clearing of the
batch.
18 Sight-glass, safety separator
For observing the process water and
checking the safety separator.
3 Sight-glass, refrigeration unit:
For checking whether the cooling agent is free
of bubbles during the reduction phase
19 Overfill sensor, safety separator
If it overfills, a diagnostic message
appears.
4 Cooling water regulator, distillation:
Regulates the cooling water flow (setting of the
cooling water temperature at drain
approximately +45 °C/113 °F)
20 Sight-glass, still:
For observing the distillation process.
5 Cooling water regulator, refrigeration unit:
You can set the condensation pressure in the
refrigeration unit here.
21 Water drain valve:
For draining the water trap in the safety
separator.
6 Low cooling water level switch
Monitors the cooling water supply.
Set to 1 bar (14.5 psi).
22 Sight-glass, water separator:
For observation of the water and solvent
phase.
7 High pressure control switch (refrigerating):
Switches the system to the malfunction state if
there is overpressure
23 Sight-glasses, inlet to water separator
For observing the condensate feed from
distillation and drying.
8 Low pressure control switch (refrigerating):
Switches the system to the malfunction state if
there is not enough cooling agent
24 Distillation overfill preventer
Stops the pumping process when the
filling amount has been reached.
9 Low pressure gauge (refrigerating)
For checking the evaporation pressure
Additional operating and monitoring systems:
10 High pressure gauge (refrigerating)
For checking the condensation pressure
- Sensor, solvent detergent solution
Monitors the solvent temperature.
11 Low air pressure switch
Monitors the compressed air supply.
Set to 4 bar (58.0 psi).
- Sight-glasses tanks 1, 2 + 3 (front side):
You can read off the liquid level on the
scales of the sight-glasses.
12 Pressure gauge, compressed air:
You can read off the required operating
pressure (6 bar/87 psi) on the pressure gauge.
- Overfill sensor, disposal vessel:
Prevents an overfilling of the disposal
vessel.
13 Drying time controller:
Extends the drying time, depending on the type
and amount of garments
14 Pushbutton, dosing unit:
Triggers a dosing procedure when pushed. You
can select any number of dosing lifts.
15 Dosing pump for antifoaming
agent/neutralization agent
For dosing from 10 to 30 cm
3
of the antifoaming
product or neutralization agent.
16 Dosing unit:
Use the setting screw to select the required
product quantity per lift.
