Button for combining the two preamplifier
channels. The tape record outputs and _
stereo decoder are unaffected. Display:
mono.

initiates tuning to the nearest station which
has adequate reception quality. Frequency
is displayed, even during preselected copy-
ing or monitoring.
For manual tuning up and down within the
selected waveband. Touching once moves
tuning one step. Continuous pressing
initiates waveband search and after 8 steps
changes to fast speed. Frequency is dis-
played, even during preselected copying or
monitoring.
Bass boost and attenuation in five settings.
Touch both buttons to deactivate in the
neutral setting (OFF). Display: BASS —10
through OFF to +10 and bass.
Treble boost and attenuation in five set-
tings. Touch both buttons to deactivate in
the neutral setting (OFF). Display: TREBLE
—10 through OFF to +10 and treble.
Balance control to correct imbalance in
channels and-acoustic asymmetry. Touch
both buttons to select neutral setting

The three-digit dispray in the lower part of
the display window shows
—P plus number of selected preset station
— contro] setting
— muting status
— various displays in timer operation.
In fm reception, station centering is shown
by display I (alone). Off-centre is indicated
by an illuminated triangle showing required
direction of tuning. The bar display shows
semilogarithmic input level.
