While TIMER is blinking you can switch to
the timer program playback by
@ “on/standby” ;
@ “process” TIMER
followed by e.g. 94.40 TP2
If you want to end a playback activated by
the timer (display: e.g. 94.40 TP1) and
return to standby, press
@ “process” (display . or TIMER)
to interrupt the current program. With the
display showing TIMER repress
@ “process” .
to leave timer operation (including other
timer programs).
Timer operation can be disabled even if the
remote control unit is unavailable by briefly
unplugging the unit. After this (and after
every power failure) the clock must be reset.
After a longer period without power
(> 2 weeks) the timer must be checked and
reset.
Equipment and special features
Remote controllable AM-FM-MPX PLL
quartz synthesiser tuner preamplifier. 30
station memories programmable for AM or
FM stations at random. High blend and
signal quality dependent muting (storable
for FM stations). Automatic AM and FM
station search.
On and off switching of current status of
low bass,.bass and treble controls and loud-
ness compensated volume setting (tone
contro] memory). Programmable attenua-
tion of all NF input sensitivities by up to
10 dB. Direct muting.
Copy from tape 1 to tape 2 or tape 2 to
tape 1 possible during other audio play-
back. Programmable switch-on and switch-
off of TV input and CC4 by audio level
detector (TV automatic circuit). Retention of
all control settings and all programmable
functions for at least 2 weeks after unplug-
ging or power failure.
Remote control code conversion for cable-
linked remote control of 2 cassette decks
(e.g. C3, C4), one record player (e.g. P4)
and power amplifier (e.g. PA4). 2 control
jacks for external remote control receiver or
transfer of symmetric remote control code
signal to a further remote controlled unit
(e.g. CD4). Serial data bus interface (similar
to RS232) for optional PC conirol.
Timer for 5 one-time or daily timer pro-
grams. Headphone and preamp outputs
protected by relais against DC load during
switch-on and switch-off. All selected
functions displayed on 8-digit 16 segment
display panel and other displays.
