What to do if my Breville BB280 will not operate?

  If your Breville Bread Maker isn't operating, there could be several reasons. Ensure the unit is plugged in, the kneading blade is correctly placed on the shaft, and the bread pan is properly seated. Also, verify that you've selected the correct setting and pressed the start button. The machine may also not operate if it hasn't cooled down from previous use, or if the lid was opened during rising or baking.

Why is my bread so dense from Breville BB280?

  If you're getting a heavy, dense texture in your bread from the Breville Bread Maker, check your method of weighing and measuring ingredients. Also, bread mix already contains salt, sugar, etc. and cannot be substituted for flour.

Why does my bread sink in the center in Breville Bread Maker?

  If your bread sinks in the center when using your Breville Bread Maker, it could be due to several factors related to the ingredients. Ensure you are accurately measuring ingredients and using high-protein flour or consider adding gluten flour. Check that your flour hasn't passed its use-by date and that you're using bread or plain flour instead of self-raising flour. Water temperature should be between 20-25ºC, and the room temperature must be between 10-28ºC.
