This document describes the Brio Water Dispenser, model no. CLCTPOU720UVF3X, a point-of-use water dispenser designed for household and similar applications. It provides hot, cold, and ambient water, and features a built-in filtration system and UV cleaning cycle.
Function Description:
The Brio Water Dispenser is designed to provide filtered hot, cold, and ambient water on demand. It connects directly to a cold water supply line, eliminating the need for bottled water. The dispenser incorporates a three-stage filtration system (sediment, pre-carbon, and carbon block) to reduce chlorine, taste, odor, lead, cysts, mud, sand, iron, rust, suspensions, and other impurities. It also features a continuous UV cleaning cycle to maintain water hygiene. The touch panel display allows users to set time, adjust water temperatures, and provides indicators for filter replacement.

Usage Features:
- Touch Panel Display: Features an intuitive display for time, water temperature settings (hot and cold), and filter replacement indicators.
- Temperature Control: Up and down arrow buttons allow users to set the clock and adjust hot and cold water temperatures.
- Water Dispensing:
- Hot Water Button: Dispenses hot water. Requires unlocking for safety.
- Ambient Water Button: Dispenses room temperature water.
- Cold Water Button: Dispenses cold water.
- Touchless Motion Sensor: Hold a hand over the sensor for 1 second to dispense cold water, promoting hygiene.
- Child Safety Lock: Prevents unsupervised dispensing of hot water. The unit is equipped with a child safety feature that requires pressing the unlock button before dispensing hot water.
- Filter Reset Switch: Located on the back of the unit, used to reset the filter life reminder light after filter replacement.
- Night Light Switch: For convenience in low-light conditions.
- On/Off Switches: Separate switches for cold water and hot water on the back of the dispenser.
Maintenance Features:
- Filter Replacement Schedule:
- Sediment Filter: Replace every 6 months or 950 gallons.
- Pre-carbon Filter: Replace every 6 months or 950 gallons.
- Carbon Block Filter: Replace every 6 months or 950 gallons.
- The red indicator light on the display blinks when a filter is nearing the end of its life and remains red when it has reached its end.
- Filter Flushing: A specific procedure is required after filter replacement to flush the new filters and ensure clear water. This involves connecting a flushing tube and allowing water to flow for 5 minutes or until clear.
- UV Cleaning Cycle: The dispenser runs a continuous UV cleaning cycle. It operates for 40 minutes (indicated by a UV icon on the display), turns off for 140 minutes, and then cycles back on, as long as the dispenser is plugged in and on.
- Sanitizing: Recommended every 3 months using a disinfectant following manufacturer's directions.
- Removing Mineral Deposits: Recommended every 6 months. This involves mixing 4 liters of water with 200g citric acid crystals, injecting it into the machine, allowing it to heat for 10 minutes, and then draining and cleaning with water.
- General Care:
- Keep the dispenser in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.
- Maintain at least 20 cm (8 in.) clearance from the back of the dispenser to a wall for proper airflow.
- Do not place the dispenser on flammable materials or in enclosed spaces.
- Unplug the unit for cleaning.
- If not in use for over 24 hours, turn off heating/refrigerating switches and drain remaining water to save power.
- If water supply is cut off, shut off water supply and turn off dispenser; re-open water supply and turn on dispenser to discharge sediment when supply is restored.
- Service should only be performed by a certified technician.
- The appliance is not suitable for cleaning by a water jet.
