      If your Brother All in One Printer displays 'Jam Rear', open the front cover, leave the machine turned on for 10 minutes to cool down, slowly take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly, pull down the tabs at the left and right hand sides to open the fuser cover. Using both hands, gently pull the jammed paper out of the fuser unit. Close the fuser cover and the back cover (face-up output tray). Put the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine. Close the front cover. If the machine does not start printing automatically, press Start.

      If your Brother All in One Printer displays 'Jam Inside', leave the machine for a few minutes to cool down, open the front cover, slowly take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly. The jammed paper may be pulled out with the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly, or this may release the paper so you can pull it out of the inside of the machine. If you cannot remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly easily, do not use extra force. Instead, push down the green lock lever and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit. Clear the jammed paper if there is any inside the drum unit.

      If the LCD of your Brother All in One Printer shows 'Jam Duplex', leave the machine for a few minutes to cool down. Pull the duplex tray completely out of the machine. Pull the jammed paper out of the machine or the duplex tray. Make sure that no paper remains under the machine. Put the duplex tray back in the machine.
