If you want to install the PS driver (Brother’s
BR-Script Driver), choose Custom setup and
then follow the on-screen instructions. When the
Select Components screen appears, check
PS(PostScript Emulation) Driver, and then
continue following the on-screen instructions.
3 Choose Wireless Setup and Driver Install,
and then click Next.
4 Read the Important Notice and check the box
after you confirm this setting, and then click
Next.
5 Choose Manual and then click Next.
6 Choose I’m able to temporarily connect my
device to my access point with a network
cable and then click Next.
7 For configuration, you must temporarily
connect your Brother wireless device (your
printer) directly to a free port on your access
point, hub or router using a network cable.
When the following screen appears, insert the
network cable to the access point and then to
the printer. Click Next.
8 Choose the printer you wish to configure, and
click Next. If the list is blank, check if the
access point and the printer are powered on,
and then click Refresh.
Note
The default Node name is “BRNxxxxxx for the
users that temporarily connect with a network
cable, or “BRWxxxxxx for the users that connect
without a network cable (where “xxxxxx are the
last six digits of Ethernet address).
