After installing the thread wiper, moved the forked
part of the thread wiper driving lever and check
that the thread wiper unit moves smoothly.

error E-60 may be displayed.

Adjust while referring to “5-17. Adjusting the
thread wiper”.
Tig
hten the set screw while lightly
pressing the work clamp lever lifter
shaft.

3. Thread wiper shaft (with washer and
retaining ring)

Adjust the thread take-up spring height while
referring to “1-2. Standard thread tension”.
