POWER:
Two position slide switch connecting power to the Type 2230 and to
the Filter Set Type 1624 or 1625 if attached.

Operate: Normal operating status.
Test:
All display segments are turned on in order to check display
operation. See Fig.2.3.
Ref.: An
internal reference signal is applied to the input circuits of the
Sound Level Meter for electrical calibration. The displayed value
should be 94 dB + K

correction factor) when the Input Attenuator
ZF 0020 is not used, and 114 dB when it is used. The reference signal
also appears at the AC and DC outputs to facilitate calibration of
recording equipment.

When the 20 dB Input Attenuator ZF 0020 is fitted, the_ FSD values are
the values in brackets on the right hand side of the selector. A 20 dB
correction is automatically applied to the display so that it always
reads the correct value.
Resets either the complete instrument or only the max and min de-
tectors as explained below. Measurement starts half a second after
the button is released.
