Check daily, if the maximum capacity of the scavenging filter (if present) is exceeded
according to the instructions of the manufacturer of the filter.
 Replace the filter early enough to prevent unwanted narcotic gase leakages
(medical gases).

Visually inspect all tubes and connections of the anesthesia system for leaks. In
particular, pay attention to wheezing noises in the pressurized system arising from
possible leaks.
 Immediately replace all defective or leaking parts.
