Phantom disposal as special waste.
Label the container accordingly.
Hire an authorized special waste company for disposal.

3.9.3 Storage of Measurement Phantoms
Risk of fire.
Do not store phantoms in a sunny location. Risk of fire due to the lens effect.
Possible damage to phantoms.
Phantoms should be stored at ambient room temperature (22 ± 3 °C.) inside the
phantom packing at a protected place against unintentional fall off.
Do not refrigerate or freeze.
