1. Removal of deflector plates
Deflector plates are installed above the combustion chamber and can
be removed without any tools through the open replace door. Remove
the ash deposits from deflector plates with a vacuum cleaner.
The lower deflector consists of two plates which are placed close to
each other. For removal, one of the plates is pushed above the sec-

picture).
Removal of lower deflector plates
Lift the upper deflector plate at the rear and move the inclined plate all
the way up through the air channel. Then it can be lowered at the front
and removed (see picture).

particles sufficiently.
Cleaning of catalytic converters using a vacuum cleaner with brush attachment
Another option is to remove the complete catalytic converter using a
tool which is attached in delivery contents.
Removal for flat-, corner- and tunnel-formats

ring. The tool is attached at the centre and the complete catalytic

unit from the mounting ring. Parts of this assembly are pushed through
the air channel, then lowered at the front and removed (see picture).
Loosening and removing the catalytic converter unit with the accessory tool
The catalytic converter unit can be cleaned with compressed air (out-
