doors) or using a vacuum cleaner with brush attachment.
The catalytic converter inserts are placed in their mounting frames.
Pay attention to avoid damage of the inserts during cleaning.
CAUTION: The catalytic converter unit can be cleaned only in dry
condition. Using liquids, cleaning agents or dish washer will cause
irreversible damages of the catalytic converter coating.
Removal for panormal-formats
The cleaning of the catalytic converter for panorama-formats is iden-
tical, only the shape of it (two separate, rectangular units) differs
compared to the other BKH formats. To clean, first remove the right-
hand unit and then the left-hand unit.

3. Mounting of deflector plates
When the catalytic converter was removed for cleaning, it has to
be installed again in the mounting ring using the attached tool. The
complete assembly is finally secured by turning in counter-clockwise
direction.
The deflector plates are installed in reversed order. The correct posi-
tion is indicated by the protruding guides on the mounting supports.
Deflector plates are significant parts of combustion chamber.
If they are not installed, the “green” emissions standard is not
reached and the catalytic converter will incur irreversible damage by
direct contact with flames.
