Installation Procedure
Step 3: Route LCL cables to SCM-600
a. Protect yourself and equipment
b. Leave 1 foot of service
loop at battery end
c. Make LCL wires perpendicular to VSL wires, or at least 2
feet away
d. Tie-wrap the LCL wires
together
2. Rubber mat over cells
See picture in Step 1a regarding the proper routing of LCL’s
relative to VSL’s
6”-8”
Step 4: Attach LCL plugs and insert into SCM-600
a. Prepare LCL cables b. Insert LCL cables into 4-pin screw terminal
c. Insert LCL plugs into SCM-600
Strip 1/4” from end
Use a jumper if there is no
center disconnect in the
battery string
The LCL plug has four
pins in case four LCL
wires are needed
