Basic safety instructions
WARNING
Do not carry out any conversions, modications, repairs or mainte-
nance on the podiatry couch that are not described in these instruc-
tions for use and have not been authorised by the manufacturer.
Do not use any accessories, converters or cables that have not been
approved or provided by the manufacturer.
Unauthorised modications or unsuitable accessories can lead to the
following hazards:
Risk of injury due to sharp-edged, breakable or overloaded
components
Risk of injury due to malfunctions
Increased electromagnetic interference emission
Reduced interference immunity
3.4 Hazardsduetomodicationstothedevice
WARNING
Before every treatment, make sure that all accessible components
of the podiatry couch are present and undamaged. This applies
especially to safety devices, coverings and the mains cable. Check all
functions of the couch before each treatment.
Missing or damaged components can endanger operators and
patients.
Contact RUCK Service immediately to have any identied defects
remedied as quickly as possible.
Only operate the podiatry couch again after all defects have been
eliminated or after consultation with the manufacturer.
