6.3 Cleaning and disinfection
The couch consists of dierent materials, some of which require specic
cleaning agents and disinfectants. Use exclusively recommended and proven
tools and products for cleaning and disinfecting.
WARNING
Disconnect the couch from the power supply before cleaning or dis-
infecting. Do this by disconnecting the mains plug or switching o the
power socket.
Danger of electric shock if liquid gets into the couch.
WARNING
Disinfect the podiatry couch after each treatment. Insucient disin-
fection can lead to transmission of disease. Observe the requirements
of the responsible national body for hygiene and disinfection.
