5.9 Calf support and footrest

5.9.1 Ergonomics
For optimal ergonomic treatment of the patient, it is recommended to have
the patient’s feet and legs in a suitable position. For this, the calf support and
footrest oer versatile adjustment options.
5.9.2 Folding down the calf support and footrest
So that you do not need to lift the full weight of your patient’s leg yourself,
you have the assistance of powerful gas-pressurised springs. To adjust the
calf support and footrest, activate the release mechanism 1 and select the
desired position. This position will be reliably held by the gas pressure springs.
Optionally the footrest of the podiatry couch can by tilted by motor2.
