Instructions on operation in the potentially explosive atmosphere
BVS 16 ATEX E 118 X
To install the electrical system using screw-type terminals and to
start up Type 8791 using DIP switches, remove the sheet metal
coverandthehousingcover:
→ Unscrew screws (4 x) on the housing cover.
→ Remove sheet metal cover together with the screws and
spacer sleeves.
→ Removehousingcoverandfoldtotheside.
→ Install or start up device.
Afterinstallingorstartingupthedevice,mountsheetmetalcover
andhousingcover:
→ Closehousingcover,ensuringthatthesealiscorrectlytted.
→ Attach sheet metal cover with screws and spacer sleeves
(see "Fig. 4").
→ Tightenscrews(4x)hand-tightasfarasthestop.
5.8 ATEX approval
TheATEXapprovalisonlyvalidifthemodulesandcomponents
authorized by Bürkert are used as described in these operating
instructions.
Use the devices only in combination with the valve types approved
by Bürkert, otherwise the ATEX approval will expire.
Ifanyunauthorizedchangesaremadetothesystem,modulesor
components, the ATEX approval will also expire.

Co.,Ltd.(SITIIAS),hasbeenCCCcertiedtocomplywith
requirementsofnationalexplosion-proofseriesstandard(GB/T
