Cleaning the Standard Tiles
Using dirty or damaged standard tiles can impact the ac-
curacy of measurements significantly. Clean the stan-
dard tiles when they are dirty in order to avoid measur-
ing inaccuracy.
NOTICE!Apply only slight pressure as you clean and
make certain there are no large particles stuck in the
cloth that could damage the surface. We highly recom-
mend to handle the standard tiles with great care. Store
them always enclosed.
Use a new lint-free cloth, dust-free lens paper or an op-
tical cloth for cleaning. For dirt that is difficult to re-
move, use an optical cloth dipped in propanol. Then
wipe the surface with a dry optical cloth.
