Automatic Door Locks
Just close your doors and turn on the ignition. Every time you move your
shift lever
out of PARK (P) all of the doors will lock. Your doors will
unlock every time you stop and move your shift lever back into PARK (P).
If someone needs to get out while you’re not in PARK (P), have that
person use the manual or power lock. When the door is closed again, it
will not lock automatically. Just use the manual or power lock to lock the
door again.
You can also have this feature changed where the doors will stay locked
when you shift back into PARK (P). Ask your dealership for details.
