  If your Calpeda Water Pump motor isn't starting, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the power supply matches the electrical characteristics on the indicator plate. Then, check the electrical connections on the terminal board and verify the thermal overload protection is correctly set. Also, see if the engine overload protective device has activated. Examine the fuses and replace them if they are blown. Finally, inspect the pump shaft to ensure it turns freely. If all these steps fail, the engine may be malfunctioning and require repair or replacement by an authorized service center.

  If your Calpeda Water Pump is running but not pumping water, there might be a few reasons. Air could be infiltrating from suction tube connections, drain plugs, the pump filling point, or suction pipe gaskets; check these parts and adequately seal any leaks. The foot valve may be blocked, or the suction pipe might not be fully immersed in the liquid; clean or replace the bottom valve and ensure the suction pipe is suitable for the application. Lastly, the suction filter could be blocked; clean or replace it if necessary.

  If your Calpeda Water Pump is blocked, it could be due to rust from prolonged inactivity. In this case, try to start the rotation directly from the pump shaft or from the joint, remember to turn off the electricity supply first. Another cause could be solid objects in the pump rotor; if possible, dismantle the pump casing and remove any foreign bodies. Also, check if the bearings are seized; if damaged, replace them.
