3.1 Main Unit
Symbol Name Function
a External eye fixation lamp
Used to guide the patient’s eye and determine which area of the
eye to photograph.
b Head rest Holds the patient’s head in place.
c Forehead rest Place the patient’s forehead against this rest.
d Objective lens Lens used for photography.
eChin rest Place the patient’s chin on this rest.

Diopter compensation
lever
Used when the target is not brought into focus by turning the
focus knob.
g Focus knob Used for focusing on the patient’s eye.
h Finger guard
This is a guard which prevents the patient from grasping the
head rest.
i Indentation for lift
To carry the camera, hold these parts at the left and right of the
main unit’s bottom panel.
